C'est la Vie. And that's the way the cookie crumbles. Goodbye Caps, you had one heck of a run. By now, we all know that the Caps amazing run into the postseason ended late Tuesday night at the hands of a determined Flyers team, in overtime nonetheless. Their season was nothing short of amazing. To go from dead last in November to winning their division title in early April, the Caps did more than win a few games, they gave fans a glimpse of a very, very bright future. Cheers, kudos all around, thank you Caps!

The Wizards return home tonight for Game 3 of their playoff series versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. I don't have much to comment on this one, other than the Wiz know exactly what they need to do in order to avoid embarrassment. Win. Two years ago, they were down 2-0 vs. Chicago and stormed back to win that first round series. If the Wiz can't offer more than a typical fight to the finish only to lose again, then consider this season a waste. Injuries or not, they talked up a storm about having everyone healthy for the playoffs and making a  serious run. So let's see it damnit.
