Car Navigation Systems are popular items for thieves. We reported yesterday that at least one thief scopes out his potential targets during the day and returns at night to do his work. Two things may help with prevention 1.) Remove the GPS from plain sight when parking your car, and 2. As always, be vigilant for and report any suspicious persons.
One of our employees had his stolen from his car while he was here at work - broken window - broad daylight. Tuck your vaoluables away - lock them in the trunk
I get the city police report daily - drugs, drugs, drugs. I don't think people are stealing, robbing, etc., for food yet, but they sure are doing it for drugs, The police are out there observing curious behavior, drug deals, etc. It is amazing how many druggies are driving and then falling asleep at the wheel while stopped in traffic...It's dangerous out there.
