One of my previous blogs asked for suggestions on transportation in the Annapolis area - I mentioned a shuttle to run us around in the Parole area, and also an elevated system on West Street - no one wants to lose the popular Poplar Trail in Germantown area, I'm sure - so do you have any ideas? I absolutely hate West Street going from four lanes to two, especially during rush hours and we are backed up almost past Wendy's - though my sympathies are with the Homewood residents who don't want fast tracking of vehicles through their neighborhood. But we need to come up with an idea or two or three to make our town a better one.
I think we need to open up a road between the old Forest Plaza - Festival at Riva to Annapolis Harbour Center - ok, we have a stream there, but for heavens sake, you can build a bridge that's environmentally ok. We'd never have a road going anywhere if we never crossed a stream, folks.
