Terrell Suggs must feel special. His dispute over whether he qualified as a defensive end or linebacker just ended, and everyone involved, including the NFL Players Association, agreed to create a new franchise designation just for him: defensive end-linebacker. ESPN.com reports that Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome went to Suggs' agent with
the idea, which made Suggs an extra $400,000 this year and should help smooth out potential long-term contract negotiations.
Here's hoping that everyone involved in renegotiating the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement can be so rational.
