Joust For Fun
St. Margaret’s Church in Annapolis will host an annual family favorite event—the Ring Joust and Craft Faire—on July 12. The camaraderie of children’s activities, local crafters, and baked goods complement the event’s main attraction, jousting, featuring horse riding “knights and maidens” with lances in hand attempting to catch rings as they gallop through a series of arches. Vroom to Boom!
The second of two Nation-Wide Demolition Derbies will be held August 2 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville. Held rain or shine the event is a big draw, with families filling the “grandstands” to watch metal mayhem as old cars spring to life before bashing each other back into retirement.
