Demos, exhibitions showcase O.C. boardwalk during annual
festival
Internationally recognized kite flyers execute their
precision displays in Ocean City during one of the nation's largest kite
festivals during the Maryland International Kite Exposition from April 24
through 26. Festival begins at 9 a.m. each day with events lasting until 9 p.m.

Oxford Day Goes Green
New theme adds twist to15th annual Oxford Day
A family-friendly favorite in Talbot County for over a
decade, Oxford Day begins this year with a pancake breakfast and includes a 10k
race, dog show, music in town park, and activities at the Cooperative Oxford
Laboratory. Themed "Oxford Goes Green," this year's parade asks
participants to add an environmentally friendly element to their floats.
Festivities begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day on April 25 in

Put Your Boat Shoes On
Largest in-water spring boat show returns for year 27
Boats ranging from high-performance and fishing to motor
yachts are on display at the Bay Bridge Marina in Stevensville on April 23
through 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Boat rides, knot-tying lessons, and
fishing clinics make for a family-friendly day, regardless of you're
boat-buying interests. Tickets are $6 for children and $12 for adults.

Earth and Dog Day Afternoon
Earth Day Festival, Mutt Strut join forces in Chestertown
Kent County Humane Society’s 12th Annual Mutt Strut &
Pet Fair begins a day of events at Wilmer Park, before live music, ecology
exhibits, and environmental education clinics are offered in observance of the
environmental teach-in initiated in 1970 Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson. Food
and concessions will be offered throughout the day. Event presented by The

Run for the Roses
Thousands of tailgaters, families, and horse racing
enthusiasts flock once again to Roedown Farm in Harwood for The Marlborough
Hunt Races. The 34th annual running of the steeplechase races, tailgate competition,
and Jack Russell Terrier races are on April 5, rain or shine. Gates open at 10
a.m. with a noon post time. General admission tickets are $5 and general
