TASTEBUDS
Keeping those fabulous flower baskets and planters blooming on the streets of downtown Annapolis was the cause that drew hundreds to Loews Annapolis Hotel on October 22 for the "Tastebuds" fundraiser. Appropriately adorned with leis, guests mingled and sampled hors d'ouevres from area eateries.

CONCERT OF TASTES
Friends of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra gathered at the Sheraton Barcelo on November 2 for the annual "Concert of Tastes." The dance and silent auction raised thousands to support the region's top local professional ensemble.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity got a boost from the Masters Club of Anne Arundel County Board of Realtors, whose party on October 16th at the model home at Kingsport raised the entire cost of building a home on Hilltop Lane.

SINGLES GALA
Despite the cold rain and a blocks-long traffic jam on West Street, a sell-out crowd of 900 packed Loews Annapolis Hotel for the What's Up? Singles Gala on November 6. More than 200 more guests were turned away at the door.
The first-ever party for area singles introduced twenty-two "Most Eligible" men and women who were profiled in the magazine's November issue. Dancing, hors d'oeuvres and strolling entertainers were featured, with a silent auction raising $6,000 for Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
