When they can be purchased for around a million dollars (give or take), many waterfront properties on the Eastern Shore are having little trouble selling, if two recent examples are any indication. Both are located on the outskirts of St. Michaels, yet different as night and day—one overlooks a private point of land, one is adjacent to a busy yacht club; one faces the serenity of morning sunrises, the other is oriented towards spectacular sunsets. Though one is “chic” and the other shabby, before long both homes had attracted buyers and were under contract.
