Garden enthusiasts visited 14 privately owned hideaways in historic Annapolis during the 5th annual Secret Garden Tour, held on June 6 to benefit the Hammond-Harwood House. Almost 700 people attended and 70 volunteers participated, with visitors from Baltimore and Washington as well as local areas.

For Art's Sake: Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Phillip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis was the setting for Maryland Federation of Art's gala gathering on June 5. The evening included lively bidding for auction items, and all proceeds benefitted the MFA, which operates the Circle Gallery in Annapolis and the City Gallery in Baltimore.
