Founded in 1994, Leadership Anne Arundel strives to develop the potential of community leaders by making them better-informed citizens of A.A. County. Each month the Flagship class devotes a day to a particular focus such as: economic development, environment, government, education, health and human services. For their final session this year, class members spent the day learning about arts and culture. Through the talents of LAA graduates a number of programs have enriched the community: Teen Court, 2lst Century Foundation, and the Life Chronicle Program. Many graduates often go on to serve as trustees for a variety of non-profit organizations.
