An Evening with Rembrandt and Friends
Engravings by Rembrandt and a reception with flair drew a crowd of art lovers to St. John's College on January 10. At "An Evening with Rembrandt and Friends, " sponsored by the Mitchell Gallery's Next Generation Committee, guests viewed works by the Dutch master in the Gallery, then adjourned to the Great Hall of McDowell to socialize. Local artists Charlotte Berry, Jean Brinton Jaecks, and John Jensen, all instructors in the St. John's College Fine Arts Program, brought easels and paint to capture the crowd on canvas.
