Fourth of July Celebration

Description:
Come experience an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration including a parade at 6pm, fireworks over the harbor, and a performance by the USNA Band.The parade begins at 6 p.m. steping off from Amos Garrett Blvd., then proceeds right on West St., around Church Circle, down Main Street, left on Randall St., and ends in front of the Market House.  At approximately 9:15 p.m., the fireworks will be launched from Farragut Field, on the USNA yard. The best viewing areas include public spaces Northeast of the Severn River, along the Naval Academy Bridge (limited parking area), any of the street-end parks facing Spa Creek, and aboard a boat in the Annapolis harbor. The Eastport Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 9:00 p.m.  Parking will be restricted in many areas but is available at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium off Rowe Boulevard. A FREE shuttle will be provided by the City of Annapolis from the Stadium to the downtown area at Lawyer’s Mall in front of the State House. The shuttle operates from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.
