Bark Breakfast
75 pet people and 50 dogs raised over $3,500 for the SPCA of Anne Arundel County at the "Bark Breakfast" fundraiser hosted by Loews Annapolis Hotel on June 18. Canine guests dined on veterinarian-approved specialties made by Chef Brad Buss and viewed a fashion show hosted by Big Dog Sportswear. Their owners went home with a fully stocked Bark Briefcase as a memento.
6th Annual Arts Alive!
Nearly 500 people celebrated and supported the arts on Friday, September 10th at Maryland Hall's 6th annual Arts Alive. The tented gala grossed more than $120,000 for Maryland Hall's education programs and renovations to the Hall's 72 year-old-Georgian-style building. Live and silent auctions and a wine raffle featured an array of prizes including trips to Ireland and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, jewelry, antiques, art, and tickets for sports and entertainment.

Hospice Cup XXIII

A whirlwind of on- and off-shore parties on the Bay marked Hospice Cup XXIII Weekend, September 10 and 11. Nearly 100 boats participated, including Blue Angel (left? Right?), one of six entries from the U.S. Naval Academy.
