Over 500 people arrived at Loews Hotel to enjoy the delectable array of food and beverage samples, informational booths on local best services, and those little extras like long-stemmed roses and massages, entirely supplied by our winners. Costumed members of the Annapolis Chorale and the First Night Revelers greeted guests. They enjoyed humorous entertainment and mime routines by Cirque Magnifique, along with a performance by the Annapolis Chorale. At the main stage, Master of Ceremonies D.J. Rob Timm introduced performers that included the Rob Levit Trio with Frank Russo and Amy Shook, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, musicians Paul and Kevina Moeller, Doug Segree, and Ballet Theater of Maryland dancers Bryan and Jamie Skites. Mayor Ellen Moyer, with the assistance of What's Up? Annapolis publisher Veronica Meneely, distributed the winning "Best Of" plaques to the Best of Annapolis 2005 winners.
