The Navy Midshipmen closed out their regular season with the storied matchup versus Army.
On a snowy, sleety and rainy Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, the Mids (8-4) topped the Black Knights (3-9) in convincing fashion 34-7. Navy's Keenan Reynolds set an all-time NCAA record with for rushing touchdowns in a season by a quarterback when he scored from 11 yards out with just under six and a half minutes remaining in the game, giving him 28 on the season. He added one more to his total with a one-yard run with 46 seconds remaining.
After his record- eaking score, Reynolds even caught a two-point conversion to put Navy up 28-7. He finished with 144 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.
Navy will now turn their attention to Middle Tennessee State (8-4), who they will face in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Tx. on Dec. 30 at 11:45 a.m.
