Annapolis by Candlelight
Take a stroll through several private homes along Maryland Avenue, King George, Prince George, and East Streets during Annapolis by Candlelight on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th. Presented by Historic Annapolis, the walking tour, which runs from 5 to 9 p.m. both days, showcases some of the city’s finest architecture. Lights on the Bay
Don’t miss Lights on the Bay, an annual holiday favorite. More than 60 light displays will adorn the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and run throughout Sandy Point State Park. The show, which benefits Anne Arundel Medical Center, runs daily from 5 to 10 p.m., starting November 16th until January 1st. Cost is $14 for cars; $50 for buses. Craft and Vendor Fair
Kick off the holiday shopping season at North County High School’s Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday, November 1st, in Glen Burnie. Rocksgiving Fishing Tournament
Join other Chesapeake-fanatics for a day of tournament fishing on Saturday, November 15th. After a day on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, fisherman and others are invited to cele ate at the post tournament cele ation featuring a casual dinner, drinks, and live music by A Classic Case. The tournament begins at 7 a.m., followed by the party from 4 to 8 p.m. at Chesapeake Harbour Marina in Annapolis. Registration is $250 per boat (up to four anglers), and there will be monetary prizes for the largest fish caught. All proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the Bowen Foundation for Autism. The Chesapeake Bay plays host to a day of tournament fishing to benefit the cancer programs within The DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Y's Annual Turkey Trot Charity 5K

This year, the annual Turkey Trot Charity 5K has added a new race location: Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold. Waterfowl Festival
Cele ate the Eastern Shore in all its waterfowl glory at the annual Waterfowl Festival to be held November 14th through 16th in Easton. Maritime Republic of Eastport's Tug of War
The City of Annapolis and the Maritime Republic of Eastport will duke it out once again during the 17th Annual Tug of War to be held Saturday, November 8th. Each team stands on its respective side of Spa Creek for seven “tugs,” competing for the championship title (Eastport was victorious last year!).
