The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival was founded in 1998 with the mission of giving back to local charities and organizations, all while providing world-class blues in an awesome location. Enjoy two days of great food, unique craft vendors, and live music on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

The United States Naval Academy prepares for a week of tradition, ceremony, and celebration for its graduating class of 2018. Commissioning Week involves a full week of celebratory events which culminate with graduation day at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Even if you don't know anyone graduating from the Academy this year, Commissioning Week offers a host of events, some available to the public, that provide a taste of the history and tradition of the United States Naval Academy, along with an airshow put on by the famed Blue Angels.
Michael McDonald – Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

With a career that encompasses five Grammys, numerous chart successes and personal and professional accolades, as well as collaborations with some of the world’s most prominent artists, Michael McDonald remains an enduring force in popular music. Hailing from St. Louis, McDonald arrived in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, honing his talents as a studio musician before becoming an integral part of Steely Dan. In the mid-’70s McDonald was invited to join The Doobie Brothers as the band redefined their sound.

Cantori Spring Concert – St. Anne’s Church

The women of Live Arts Maryland's ensemble Cantori are back for a sublime spring concert directed by Laurie J. Hays. Titled "When I Have Sung My Songs – music of reflection, affirmation and hope," this concert includes Franz Biebl’s ethereal Ave Maria, the rousing and affirming spiritual Nothin’ Gonna Stumble My Feet by John Parker, Dan Forrest’s haunting Psalm 8 (Adonai, Adonenu) and works by Morten Lauridsen, Cary Ratcliff, Randall Thompson, Daniel Elder, A.R. Rahman, Jacob Narverud and Ernest Charles. Pianist Carolene Winter accompanies Cantori.

Based in one of the oldest and most picturesque towns on the Delmarva Peninsula, the seventh annual St. Michaels Running Festival promises gorgeous views, a rocking after-party, and benefits several local charities. Run a half marathon or 5K, both USATF certified, on courses that meander through waterfront communities and tranquil country roads before ending in the beautiful historic town of St. Michaels.

Small boats and big fun are in store for guests of all ages as the Model Guild of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and the Washington Ship Model Society host the 12th Maritime Model Expo. In addition to numerous indoor and outdoor maritime exhibitions along 18 acres of waterfront, the Maritime Model Expo offers CBMM guests pond demonstrations, model races, special exhibits, family activities, food, and more.
Cambridge Classic Powerboat Regatta – Downtown Cambridge

The country’s longest-running powerboat races happen right in Dorchester! This year marks the 108th Cambridge Classic Power Boat Regatta. The fleet ranges from the classic Jersey speed skiffs turning on their sides and going airborne at 70mph to the 1,500-horsepower grand prix boats that reach speeds of 170 mph.
First Annual Landjam – Leigh Family Farm, Betterton

Please join the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy for its first annual LANDJAM! Attendees will be treated to live music, environmentally-related educational activities, and a stunning view. Come listen to music, eat, drink, dance, walk and learn. Food will be sold from local food trucks, and local beers/wines/non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. There will be many family-friendly activities offered, including fun for kids both young and old.
