CHESTERTOWN, MARYLAND – Enjoy a relaxing two-hour cruise on the Chester River aboard the elegant River Packet, a 65-foot classic luxury yacht on Friday, April 25th. The guest lecturer, Gene Allen Smith, author of THE SLAVES’ GAMBLE, Choosing Sides in the War of 1812, will discuss his scrupulously researched account of the lives of enslaved people during the War of 1812. Food will be provided by Occasions Catering.
