Hop your way into an eventful Easter weekend with activities ranging from unches to egg hunts to meeting the Easter bunny.
Enjoy 10 a.m. unches on Easter Sunday at Brian Boru Irish Pub in Severna Park, Galway Bay in Annapolis, Killarney House in Davidsonville and Old Stein Inn in Mayo. Loews Annapolis Hotel will host their unch at 10:30 a.m.
The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore will host Bunny BonanZoo from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Kids can take part in games, crafts, special activities, non-stop egg hunts and live entertainment. The zoo animals love BonanZoo because they get to enjoy their very own Easter treats this weekend.
Looking for a weekend trip to the ocean? The 15th Annual Easter Arts & Crafts Fair/Kids Fair will take place Friday and Saturday at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City. Children will be entertained with magic tricks, Easter egg hunts, musical chairs, balloon games, hoola hoop and limbo contests, fastest dresser relay, and more.
Want to get some cardio in before indulging in a delicious Easter dinner? Head over to Kent Island Cross Island Trail in Chester for the Hopping for a Cure 5k and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Not only does the event encourage good fitness but it also benefits the Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) Leukemia and Lymphoma Society charity. Runners are encouraged to dress up in bunny ears or any other Easter attire. The Easter egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. and kids can get their faces painted and meet the Easter bunny.
Thousands of eggs will be hidden from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Tuckahoe State Park in Queen Anne during the Tuckahoe Easter Egg Hunt. This event is free and open to all children under the age of 10.
You can em ace the allure of Berlin, which was recently voted the “Coolest Small Town in America” by Budget Travel, with its annual fun-filled Spring Cele ation on Saturday at 8 a.m. The day starts with three eakfast seatings at Raynes Reef Restaurant followed by two Easter egg hunts beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Stephen Decatur Park. The Easter Bonnet and Mad Hatter Parade will close out the festivities at 3 p.m.
From 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Bowie Town Center will hold its Easter Eggstravaganza, a spring cele ation featuring an Easter egg hunt, face paintings, bounce slide and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
Children can get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny at Westfield Annapolis Mall and Marley Station Mall through Saturday.
