Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show
The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show returns to our historic seaport town April 25th through 27th at City Dock. The show will showcase new and brokerage boats including catamarans, monohulls, family cruisers, daysailers, and inflatables. There will be plenty for everyone to enjoy with live entertainment, seminars, a festive tasting tent, shopping, and, of course, plenty of boats. Bay Bridge Boat Show
Climb aboard a wide array of powerboats of every style and size from fishing boats and trawlers to pontoon boats and luxury cruisers at the Bay Bridge Boat Show on April 11th through 13th. There will be food and beer stations, live entertainment, shopping, and more, all at the Safe Harbor Narrows Point marina in Grasonville. Cirque de Paris
Europe’s most famous circus is back by popular demand for an all-new experience: Cirque de Paris presented by Anouchka Bouglione. Cirque de Paris will be under the big top at the Annapolis Mall for multiple shows April 3rd through 13th. This one-ring family spectacle is full of thrills, humor, and elegance. An Earth Day Tribute
Naptown Philharmonic Orchestra is performing An Earth Day Tribute on April 6th at Maryland Hall in Annapolis. The concert is dedicated to environmental awareness through the power of music and community collaboration. 37th Annual Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition
The 37th Annual Vocal Competition is your chance to hear the most talented rising stars in the classical vocal world! Annapolis Opera’s Vocal Competition will take place on April 13th at 3 p.m. at Maryland Hall in Annapolis. This free event showcases singers selected by a panel of renown judges, from hundreds of outstanding applicants from across the nation. Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Masterworks “Fiesta”
Experience two extraordinary evenings with Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Masterwork Series. On April 4th and 5th, ASO and Dali Quartet (pictured) will perform the Annapolis premiere of contemporary composer Sonia Morales-Matos’ “Fiesta No. 2” at Maryland Hall. A vibrant fusion of Latin American dance rhythms with classical brilliance, this festive work for string quartet, string orchestra, and percussion invites the audience to a joyful celebration of unity, peace, and hope. Blue Ribbon Bash
Join the Blue Ribbon Project on April 26th for the 2025 Blue Ribbon Bash. The event includes dinner, silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, dancing, and live music from Pretty Big Deal—all at Severna Park Elks Lodge. Anne Arundel Asian American Festival
The Anne Arundel Asian American Festival is back at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville on April 6th. Celebrate Asian American heritage with a family-friendly day of food, music, crafts, arts, and more highlighting Asian and Pacific Island culture. Muddy Creek Artist Guild Spring Art Show
Muddy Creek Artist Guild presents “Art in Bloom,” it’s spring showcase of all-new works by member artists. The show runs April 2nd to 6th at Christ Church West River Parish Hall. There will be interactive artist talks, live demonstrations, gallery tours, and a new fashion show. Explore Studio Intrepid where you can tap into your own creative side and participate in the raffle, which will support Anne Arundel County Public Schools through the Guild’s Arts Education Fund. GiGiFit Acceptance Challenge
Join GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis for its 7th Annual Fit Acceptance Challenge. The 5K fun race and 1-mile inspirational walk will be held on April 27th at Quiet Waters Park. Whether you are setting a goal to run your first 5K or want to do something fun and active with your whole family, this is the perfect opportunity to raise awareness for our friends with Down syndrome and celebrate seven years of achievements. Maryland Chicken Wing Festival
Kick off April with one of our favorite Anne Arundel County traditions. On April 5th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., visit the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville for the 11th annual Maryland Chicken Wing Festival. Enjoy wings of all types from some of the best establishments around. The day will be filled with live entertainment, music, axe throwing, best chicken and leg contest, pepper eating contest, make your own sauce competition, and so much more. Talbot Day
On April 19, 1983, the Talbot County Council officially declared April 25th as the county’s birthday. In 2023, the Council reignited this tradition by proclaiming Talbot Day, an annual celebration of Talbot County’s rich history, diverse community, and remarkable citizens. This year’s Talbot Day 2025 embraces the theme “Talbot Through Time,” inviting residents to explore the county’s past and present through historical exhibits, interactive activities, and community recognition, culminating in a birthday celebration around the courthouse in Easton on April 25th. The celebration will feature live music, local entertainment, and a special birthday cake, bringing the community together to honor Talbot County’s heritage and future. State of the Rivers: Sassafras & Bayside Creeks
ShoreRiver’s State of the Rivers event will take place on April 22nd from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Betterton Volunteer Fire Company. State of Rivers is a free presentation series held each spring to inform the public about the current state of our Eastern Shore waterways. This event will focus on the Sassafras & Bayside Creeks. Easton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Celebrate Spring with Easton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the morning of April 19th. Thousands of eggs will be spread out on the Talbot County Courthouse grounds. The Easter Bunny will arrive via fire truck for children to pose with before and after the hunt. The hunt will start at 10:15 a.m. for infants to 4-year-olds, and start at 10:30 a.m. from children ages 5–10. Find more information at discovereaston.com.

Eastern Shore Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels will kick off its festival season by hosting the Eastern Shore Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival on the weekend of April 12–13. The popular celebration of all-things sea glass will feature a large selection of sea glass goods and one-of-a-kind treasures from nearly 100 visiting artisans and vendors spread across CBMM’s waterfront campus.
