Dr. Gavrila, please tell us about your professional journey in medicine and what inspired you to develop your business.
As the son of an immigrant mother fleeing communism for a better life, I saw first-hand how important the freedom of self-expression is. My mother’s commitment to the free and open expression of health and beauty became indoctrinated within me. She herself was the daughter of a renowned cardiologist who passed on the importance of integrity, gratefulness and taking care of others, which she instilled in me.
What can we expect from ProMD Health in 2023?
ProMD is slated to open three new offices next year, and I’m also developing succession plans for all employees, as well as an online training curriculum to educate existing and future providers on how to be first in class. The ProTox Methodology is another venture I’m excited to divulge next year which will enhance the ProMD provider’s ability to deliver consistent and custom outcomes that supersede what our industry is accustomed to. Aside from our growth, patients can expect the latest and most innovative treatments and products to have you looking and feeling your absolute best.
How do you keep yourself involved in the local community?
Philanthropy and community involvement means everything to me and is a huge part of ProMD, my ethos, and why I started ProMD Helps. ProMD Helps presently supports numerous local and national charities through direct contributions, gifts of services, and staff volunteering. Large or small, human or animal, we look to improve our community as best we can.
