On Saturday night from 7-11 p.m., Loews Annapolis Hotel will play host to CASAblanca: An Evening of Flappers, Fedoras & Philanthropy, which includes music from The Doug Segree Band, a live and silent auctions, a cocktail hour, open bar throughout the event with hors d’oeuvres, plated dinner, and dessert. The Community Leadership Award, Corporate Commitment Award and CASA Caring Heart Award will all be presented. Tickets are $150.
The 42nd Annual Waterfowl Festival makes its return to historic Easton in its continual effort to promote wildlife conservation, wildlife art, and life on the Eastern Shore.
Running Friday through Sunday with events for all ages, ranging from art galleries, wildlife demonstrations, wine, beer and tasting pavilion, puppet shows, and more, the Waterfowl Festival is sure to attract thousands. Tickets are $12 per person for all three days. Children under 12 are free.
Also in held in Easton, the 2nd Annual Brew & Oyster Brawl will take place from 3-7 p.m. at the Tidewater Inn’s Gold Room Garden. There will be an open beer, wine and soda bar, Hoopers Island oyster chowder, pit beef sliders, paired wines, Dogfish Head Brewery, fried shrimp sliders, and more. Tickets are $75. Come explore the lost art of model boat building at the Oxford Community Center during the Maritime Heritage of the Eastern Shore: A Model Boat Show, which runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The free show and sale will feature demonstrations and talks from local expert model builders who will teach the tricks of the trade.
Participants include Eastern Shore native and knot tier Don Willey, naval historian Bill Dudley, model restorer Peter Sweetser and more. Oxford bookstore Mystery Loves Company will be on hand with books about models, waterman, and maritime history.

At the Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, The Muddy Creek Artists Guild Annual Winter Show will display 300 years of some of the area’s finest arts and crafts.
