Halloween Happenings is held annually in Easton on the Saturday before Halloween, and is a double header. At 10 a.m., young children (encouraged to be in costume) gather in Thompson Park for games, entertainment, and prizes for costumes. They are then led around the block and back to Thompson Park in a fun, costumed parade of Trick or Treaters, to get candy from downtown merchants. The Psycho Safari Haunted House is produced by Tulip Gulch Productions, and is in its 25th year in Bowie. The haunted house is rated PG-13; parental discretion strongly advised.
