There are tons of (mostly) free outdoor concerts throughout our area. Eastern Shore, Annapolis, West County—they’re all over the place. Here’s a brief guide so you can figure out which series is right for you.
Annapolis
Free Friday Night Concert Series invites you to start your weekend with great shopping, dining, and a fre4e concert. At the Annapolis Towne Center, Annapolis. Fridays; 7-8:30 p.m.
Summertime Maritime Concert Series features Chesapeake Bay musicians as well as artists from other watersheds across the country. All the concerts feature traditional songs or original material written by the artists. At the Annapolis Maritime Museum, Annapolis. Thursdays; 7-8:30 p.m.
I Love Beach Music gives you a chance to enjoy free live music at the Bandshell. At Chesapeake Beach Resort Spa and Hotel, Chesapeake Beach. Wednesdays; 7 p.m.
Rock the Dock Summer Concert Series takes place at the Boardwalk Café. At the Chesapeake Beach Resort Spa and Hotel, Chesapeake Beach. Sundays; 4-8 p.m.
Quiet Waters Park Summer Concert Series features music ranging from jazz and country to folk and classic rock. At Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis. Saturdays at various times.
Downs Park will host a terrific lineup of outdoor concerts for the whole family to enjoy. No August concerts are scheduled, however previously cancelled performances have been moved to September 9th and 16th at 5 p.m.r
Eastern Shore
Music in the Park provides you with a wide variety of musical acts, from big bands to blue grass. In Fountain Park, Chestertown. Every other Saturday; 7-8:30 p.m.
Thursdays in the Park features the music of some of your favorite artists. At locations throughout Queen Anne’s County. See schedule for details.
Concerts in the Country highlights some of the most popular musicians in the region. Okay, so this one actually has a $5 cover charge. But, if you’re under 21, you can get in for free. At Layton’s Chance Winery, Vienna.
West County
Fort George G. Meade Summer Concert Series features all four of the Army Field Band’s performing components. At Fort George G. Meade. Saturdays; 7 p.m.
