A Charmed by Charity Soiree
A Benefit for YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Presented by Alex and Ani, Wednesday, February 3rd, 5-7 p.m.
brJoin the YWCA for one of their first events of 2016 as they host an evening connecting with friends at Alex and Ani in downtown Annapolis. Proceeds from all sales on that day will benefit the YWCA and our mission to serve community members impacted by Intimate Partner Violence. There will be light refreshments and a special bracelet selected to commemorate the work of the YWCA. Please RSVP at Ndonegan@ywcaaac.org. This is the perfect opportunity for a Girls Night Out, a Valentine’s Day shopping trip or a pre-dinner downtown stop.
Dorchester County Empty Bowls Fundraiser

p.m. Attendees will receive a keepsake ceramic bowl to remind them that others are hungry. The long-term goal for this event is to encourage individuals to continue to support organizations who are working every day to feed those in need in Dorchester County. Area churches are providing the meals and DCA is providing most of the supplies for the bowls.

Celebrate 20 years of cold water plunging! For just $75 in pledges you can participate in the Annual Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park. This thrilling and chilling experience sees participants jump into the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland. This year’s fundraising goal is $2,000,000.
