If you’re like most adults, you’re busy. You have a job, errands to run, obligations to family and friends, the works. You may or may not have your Halloween plans finalized for tonight and this weekend. If you don’t, you’re in luck because the rest of this blog caters to you. Here are some alternatives to the routine “walk around the neighborhood” for kids and adults.
The Maryland Sunrise Farm Fall Event in Gam ills will culminate on Saturday (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). There is a new $10 enchanted evening children’s maze, a non-threatening alternative to scary Halloween rides which includes a flashlight, horse rides for $6, hayrides for $4, kids cow train rides for $2 and a giant corn maze for families to navigate through.
For those who like the adventure of freight and fear, Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie will host Tulip Gulch's NIGHTMARES Haunted House. This PG-13 show features 30 live actors with props and special effects and runs from dusk until 11 p.m. The house takes about 20 minutes to navigate through and costs $15 in advance and $17 the day of the show. Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie will host its annual Halloween Boo Bash tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. Kids can cele ate the night with candy from their favorite stories with live entertainment taking place in the center court.

If you’re the type that prefers to scream with laughter rather than terror, Crush Winehouse in Annapolis is where you need to be tonight. From 7:30 to 10 p.m., enjoy Free Range Improv with spooktacular comedy and surprises all night. Union Jack’s in Annapolis will hold its Jack the Ripper Halloween Bash - "Two Nights of Fright" tonight and tomorrow night from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. where there will be a massive costume contest with over $1,000 in cash and prizes, featuring a grand prize of a free Caribbean Vacation.
