The event allows individuals, companies and clubs to come together and help to share the power of a wish® through their fundraising for local wish children. Make-A-Wish will offer great tips on how to make fundraising easier. There will be several exciting "fundraising challenges" throughout the months preceding the event and top fundraisers will receive awards at the post-Walk celebration.

The Great Give 2015 – 24 Hours of Giving to Benefit Local Charities
brWe encourage everyone to donate and support the causes they care most about and build awareness of the good work done by our local nonprofits. The largest single day of giving in Anne Arundel County will be from 6 p.m. on May 5th to 6 p.m. on May 6th. The 2015 goal is to raise $750,000 to benefit at least 170 nonprofit organizations that serve Anne Arundel County. If each individual, business and organization makes an online donation right here during the Great Give 2015 together, we can change our community! The benefit will allow the SPCA to continue our efforts in providing shelter and rehabilitation to companion animals in need and promoting humane care and concern for the animals. Importantly, funds raised will enable the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to continue to develop and facilitate much needed life-saving programs that will continue to help our community and improve the lives of companion animals.
