Students in the performances range in age from the 4-year olds dancing as Butterflies in "Red Riding Hood" to the advanced level, classically trained dancers in "Concerto," choreographed by Barbara Easter Winner to the music of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. Also, included in the program are lyrical and modern pieces choreographed by Carol Wheeler and a jazz piece choreographed by Amy Slichter. The performances conclude with "To Mozart" choreographed by Carol Wheeler to music by Mozart.
The dance concert is open to the public with a limited number of reserved seats available at the door. Admission is $10.00.
L'Ecole de Danse, under the direction of Barbara Easter Winner and Carol Wheeler, has given its students the opportunity to dance in full-length ballet productions since 1982.
