rThe preseason schedules for the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens were announced last week. The Redskins will play on the road against the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and home against the Buffalo Bills and on Monday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens will play at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams and will host the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. Their game against Carolina will be nationally televised on ESPN. In other Ravens news, quarterback Joe Flacco will play Hall of Famer Johnny Unitas in a movie called "Unitas We Stand." Unitas' son, Joe Unitas, told the Baltimore Sun that Flacco will be portraying his father during the reenactment of the Colts' 1958 Championship victory. r rr
rThe No. 1 Maryland women's lacrosse team (14-0) set a record with an attendance of 2,347 as they beat No. 2 North Carolina 14-13 at home on Saturday.
