2015 Military Bowl
Navy vs. Pitt, Monday, December 28th, 2:30 p.m.
This postseason college football game has a unique mission to honor and show appreciation for the nation's service men and women, their families, as well as veterans who have honorably served our country. The game is half past 1400 hours at Navy- Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis. Tickets are $25-80. This event benefits the USO. Founded by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the United Service Organizations, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides programs, services, and live entertainment to United States troops and their families.

Military Bowl Wine Walk
Most businesses will feature tastings from local Maryland wineries. Everyone making a purchase at a participating business during the Military Bowl Wine Walk will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes: br
brMilitary Bowl postgame field passes, A set of wine glasses from Great Frogs Winery, Framed black and white image of ‘Annapolis Watermen’ from Great Frogs 2012 Cabernet wine label. Framed black and white image of the old Annapolis City Dock. This circa 1953 image is featured on Great Frogs’ special reserve dessert wine.The drawing will be held on the night of Sunday, Dec. 27, following the Military Bowl Wine Walk. Winners will be notified that night and provided instructions for picking up their prizes.

Join the gameday tradition leading up to kickoff: the Military Bowl Parade! The Budweiser Clydesdales are back to lead the way for another exciting bowl season in Annapolis.
brAfter the parade, join the Official Military Bowl Tailgate in the Blue Lot on the west side of the stadium. Admission is free to both the parade and tailgate.
We Care and Friends
brbrWe Care and Friends, led by Larry Griffin, is the center of activity for assistance, classes, community events, or counseling in the Stanton Community Center in Annapolis and has helped thousands of people. We are a grass-roots 501(c)3 organization and the “place to go” for people who have no where else to turn for food, housing, clothing, drug treatment, family counseling, and employment in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.

Their mission is to make Anne Arundel County a place where all women and children are able to reach their full potential.
The Light House – A Homeless Prevention Support Center

For over two decades the nonprofit has been steadfast in their mission of rebuilding lives with service and compassion by providing shelter, preventing homelessness and empowering people in Anne Arundel County as they work to become self-sufficient.

After more than 40 years of providing wetland services in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and beyond, they continue to broaden our partnership efforts. They have made significant progress in the ongoing effort to improve the water quality in the bay; yet there is still much work to be done. Protecting our wetlands is vital.

Living Classrooms has grown into an educational and economic force that combines one of Baltimore city's most cherished assets - its beautiful and historic harbor - with some of its most overlooked - the thousands of bright, ambitious children and young adults who are struggling to succeed against terrible odds. What began with one program in one city has grown into dozens of programs across a region that now encompasses Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.
