Aerosmith – MGM National Harbor – August 8th
Last summer, Aerosmith announced Deuces Are Wild, a concert residency at Las Vegas’ Park Theater. Now, America’s best-selling rock band is bringing its Vegas show to three East Coast venues. The interactive show will feature never before seen visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions. Aerosmith will be performing at MGM National Harbor August 8th, 10th, and 13th. Jonas Brothers: Capital One Arena, D.C., August 15th
Six years after their official break-up, the Jonas Brothers are back. The group first gained popularity in the early 2000s from their appearances on the Disney Channel, and soon became one of most popular young bands of the decade. The trio announced earlier this year that they were reuniting and releasing their first album in ten years, Happiness Begins. The Jonas Brothers will be performing at Capital One Arena on Thursday, August 15th, 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $100–500 and can be purchased here.
Billy Currington: The Freeman Stage, Selbyville, DE, August 15th
Since entering the country music scene in 2002, Billy Currington has released six studio albums and has had 18 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay chart. Known for number one hits like “Good Directions,” “People Are Crazy,” and “Don’t It,” Currington is a CMT Music award-winner and three-time Grammy nominee. Billy Currington will be performing at The Freeman Stage on Thursday, August 15th, 8 p.m. Tickets range from $49–89 and can be purchased here.
Hootie & the Blowfish: Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, August 8th
After a 10-plus year hiatus since their last formal tour, Hootie & the Blowfish are back on the road. The Group Therapy Tour, which kicked off in late May, will visit 44 cities and feature special guest Barenaked Ladies. Hootie & the Blowfish will be performing at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Thursday, August 8th, 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $75–179 and can be purchased here.
Melissa Etheridge: Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Annapolis, August 27th
Melissa Etheridge gained popularity after the release of her 1988 self-titled debut album, which was certified double platinum. Since then, she has established herself as a female rock music icon. Best known for her songs “Bring Me Some Water” and “Come to My Window,” Etheridge is a Grammy and Academy award-winning musician, as well as a prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Melissa Etheridge will be performing at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Tuesday, August 27th, 8 p.m. Tickets range from $90–225 and can be purchased here.
