Arlo Guthrie: Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Annapolis, February 10th
Following the enthusiastic response from fans following his Alice’s Restaurant Massacree 50th anniversary tour, Arlo Guthrie is back on the road. His new tour, entitled Alice’s Restaurant—Back By Popular Demand, coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Alice’s Restaurant feature film. Guthrie will be joined by members of his former acclaimed band, Shenandoah, and his daughter, singer-songwriter Sarah Lee Guthrie, who will open the show. Arlo Guthrie will be performing at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Sunday, February 10th, 8 p.m. Tickets range from $75–90 and can be purchased here.
Michael Bublé: Capital One Arena, D.C., February 19th
Influenced by classic singers such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé has become the leading crooner of modern day. Bublé’s ability to mix the classic jazz sound with elements of pop and soul has earned him fans young and old. In support of his newest album, Love, the four-time Grammy Award-winning artist is kicking off his 2019 North American tour. Michael Bublé will be performing at Capital One Arena on Tuesday, February 19th, 8 p.m. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased here.
John Mellencamp: The Modell Lyric, Baltimore, February 20th
American singer-songwriter John Mellencamp rose to fame in the early 1980s. Best known for hits such as “Hurts So Good” and “Jack & Diane,” Mellencamp has accumulated 22 Top 40 hits in the United States over the course of his career. His new album, Other People’s Stuff, debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart. In support of the album, Mellencamp announced a 2019 tour, “The John Mellencamp Show.” John Mellencamp will be performing at The Modell Lyric on Wednesday, February 20th, 8 p.m. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased here.
Rachael & Vilray: Rams Head on Stage, Annapolis, February 21st
Rachael Price, lead-singer of Lake Street Dive, and Brooklyn based musician Vilray met in the fall of 2003 while attending the New England Conservatory of Music. A mutual appreciation for 1930s and ‘40s pop music brought the duo together. With only vocals and guitar accompaniment, the two artists perform original works and oldies of the jazz big bands and western swing ensembles. Rachael & Vilray will be performing at Rams Head on Stage on Thursday, February 21st, 8 p.m. Tickets are $28.50 and can be purchased here.
