The Subdudes: Avalon Theatre, Easton, June 8th
The Subdudes have been entertaining audiences with their authentic songwriting and musicianship for more than 25 years. Drawing influence from their hometown of New Orleans, the band delivers a groovy blend of blues, gospel, funk, and R&B. The Subdudes will be performing at the Avalon Theatre on Saturday, June 8th, 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here.
Willie Nelson: Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, June 19th
Willie Nelson is one of the most recognized artists in country music. Throughout his five decades in the music industry, the 85-year-old has accumulated 13 Grammy Awards, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and received the Kennedy Center Honors. Willie Nelson & Family will perform at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday, June 19th, 7 p.m. Nelson will be joined by Lukas Nelson & Promise of Real, his son’s band, and American bluegrass-country artist Alison Krauss. The Marshall Tucker Band: Rams Head on Stage, Annapolis, June 23rd
Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, The Marshall Tucker Band stays true to their southern roots. The band’s eclectic sound, which combines rock, country, jazz, and blues, is credited with helping solidify the southern rock genre in the early ‘70s. Now in their 48th year on the road, The Marshall Tucker Band is bringing their Through Hell & High Water…And Back Tour to Rams Head on Stage on Sunday, June 23rd, 8 p.m. Tickers are $67.50 and available here.
Phish: Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, June 22nd & 23rd
During the early ‘90s, Phish entered the music scene with their groovy and genre-blending Grateful Dead-esque sound. Their reputation for improvisation during live shows and jam-band performance style has earned them a large and loyal fan base. Phish will be performing at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd, 7 p.m. Tickets range from $45–90 and can be purchased here (6/22) and here (6/23).
