Season 64 Guest Artist for Patron Manager - 8
Annapolis, MD — The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce that internationally celebrated soprano Christine Goerke will join its 2025-26 season. Ms. Goerke will perform with the ASO at the Signature Series concerts “Legends” to be held January 30th and 31st, 2026 at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Maryland and February 1, 2026 at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor José-Luis Novo. The music program for Ms. Goerke’s collaboration with the ASO will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ms. Goerke is one of the most distinguished sopranos of her generation. She has appeared on the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Paris Opera, Teatro alla Scala, and Lyric Opera of Chicago, among many others. Ms. Goerke began her career singing the works of Mozart and Handel, and has since earned international acclaim for her portrayals of the powerful dramatic heroines of Strauss and Wagner. Her powerful voice, dramatic intensity, and compelling presence have made her a favorite of audiences and critics alike. Her discography includes the GRAMMY® Award-winning recording of Vaughan Williams’s A Sea Symphony with Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (Best Classical Album and Best Choral Performance), and the GRAMMY® nominated Stabat Mater by Dvořák.
Soprano Angel Blue’s previously scheduled appearance with the ASO for this performance will be rescheduled for a future season.

- Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM – Music Center at Strathmore, North Bethesda
