The French Frigate, Hermione
The French Frigate, Hermione, was a concorde class frigate of the French Navy. The ship is stopping at the Annapolis port Tuesday, June 16th through Wednesday, June 17th. Public tours are available from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the 16th and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the 17th. As the Hermione moves up the Eastern seaboard, it will be accompanied by a range of pier side activities. The Hermione Voyage 2015 is part of an expansive outreach program with cultural events, exhibitions, and educational programs that celebrate the trip and mark its progress. A robust digital activation for the voyage expands the reach of the project to millions of people. After the ship launches from Annapolis, it will continue its voyage traveling to Philadelphia, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Nova Scotia, and finally land in France.
