Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display
Deep Creek Lake, July 4th, 9:30 p.m.
The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display, sponsored by Hugh Umbel Companies. Starting at 9:30 p.m., fireworks will be launched from the top of Bear Claw Tubing Park at Wisp Resort onto the waters of Deep Creek Lake. Viewing spots include the scenic overlook on Rt. 219, McHenry Cove on Deep Creek Lake and businesses in McHenry.

brSince 1986, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra has presented a free “Salute to Independence” Concert at Antietam National Battlefield. The “Salute” has been billed as “Maryland’s Most Patriotic Event” and has also been recognized by the American Bus Association as “One of the Top 100 Events in North America.” The evening concert attracts nearly 35,000 people from all over and is capped off by a spectacular fireworks display, one of the largest in the region. This year's special guest, folk singer/songwriter Jennie Avila, will be performing her original songs of the Civil War.

They will depart from the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel dock at 6:30 p.m. for a sunset sail with live entertainment by “Ship’s Company”. The boat will anchor close to the fireworks barge for the 9:15 p.m. fireworks display and return to the dock after the show. This all-day, fun-filled Catonsville tradition features children's games, races, and concerts starting at 9:30 a.m. The 69th Annual Grand Parade on Frederick Road will start at 3:00 p.m. and the best fireworks display will go off at 9:15 p.m.

Children's July 4th Parade

brThe children’s parade and old-fashioned fourth celebration at St. Michaels Museum at St. Mary’s Square is great fun for all ages! The parade will be leaving St. Mary’s Square to Talbot Street, then back via Willow, Church and Mulberry St. to the Square. Children are encouraged to arrive before 10 a.m. and to wear patriotic attire, decorate bikes and wagons, even pets, and join the parade! From 11-11:45 a.m., there will be flag raising, patriotic songs, benedictions and speakers to celebrate the fourth at the new front porch of the Teetotal building. On the lawn of the museum there will be children’s activities including games, face painting, a magic act and more! There will also be food and delicious ice cream. The St. Michaels Museum will be open and free to the public. Join Uncle Sam for the fun and spectacle of this traditional celebration!
Red White and BOOM
Wicomico County Stadium, July 4th, 6:30 p.m.
brRed White and BOOM is Salisbury’s free community fireworks display returning to Wicomico County Stadium! A vendor area will open at the stadium at 6:30 p.m. There will be a variety of food vendors, along with music on site courtesy of WBOC-FM 102.5. A Salisbury Fire Department ladder truck will be at the event, hanging a massive U.S. flag, plus bounce houses for children and a Kids Kazoo Parade at 8 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from the site of the old Salisbury Mall around 9:15 p.m. The main viewing area will be inside the stadium; and spectators can bring lawn chairs and blankets if they wish. A rain date is scheduled for July 5th.

Baltimore’s Ports America Chesapeake Fourth of July Celebration
Baltimore Inner Harbor, July 4th, 7–10 p.m. Commemorate Independence Day with live music and celebratory fireworks in the heart of downtown Baltimore. The event will showcase music by U.S. Navy Band Cruisers and other performers starting at 7 p.m. at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. At 9:30 p.m., Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will kick off the multicolored fireworks, which can be viewed from several locations downtown and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Federal Hill, Fell's Point, and Harbor East.
Catonsville's Independence Day Celebration
Catonsville High School, July 4th, 9:30 a.m. This all-day, fun-filled Catonsville tradition features children's games, races, and concerts starting at 9:30 a.m. The 69th Annual Grand Parade on Frederick Road will start at 3:00 p.m. and the best fireworks display will go off at 9:15 p.m.

Dundalk Heritage Association Independence Day Parade and Fireworks
North Point Government Center, July 1–4th, 12 p.m. The Heritage fair will feature three stages filled with live music, carnival rides and games will also be available! Tickets are $8 per person, children 12 and under are free, and will be sold at the front gate. The 82th Annual Dundalk 4th of July Parade will march to this year’s theme of “Celebrating the American Dream” at approximately 8:15 a.m. July 4th. The Fireworks will start around 9:15 p.m. and can be seen from numerous sites throughout Dundalk!
Middle River Fireworks Extravaganza
Eastern Yacht Club, July 2nd, 9:30 p.m. Enjoy this annual fireworks extravaganza on the beautiful waters of Middle River. All proceeds from the event will help wounded veterans by supporting Project No person Left Behind!

Start off the celebration Friday and get your groove on during the youth street dance behind City Hall. Continue the celebrations on Saturday at Founder’s park with activities, booths with food, drinks, and lots of fun. All children are invited to participate in the fun and laughter during the children’s parade. Make sure to decorate your child’s bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers! New this year is the Centreville’s got talent! This family-friendly event will display performances from winners who auditioned during the week. Cash prizes will be awarded. Grab your blankets and chairs to finish off the day with live music from the Salamanders and watch the fireworks show. The weekend will end on Monday with a Freedom 5K Run and Children’s Run at 7 a.m., a breakfast at founders park, a parade on Main Street, outdoor festival filled with games, food, and fun activities, entertainment in the park with a talent show, and the Youth Art Exhibit!

Children's July 4th Parade
St. Michaels Museum, July 4th, 10 a.m.–11 p.m.
brThe children’s parade and old-fashioned fourth celebration at St. Michaels Museum at St. Mary’s Square is great fun for all ages! The parade will be leaving St. Mary’s Square to Talbot Street, then back via Willow, Church and Mulberry St. to the Square. Children are encouraged to arrive before 10 a.m. and to wear patriotic attire, decorate bikes and wagons, even pets, and join the parade! From 11-11:45 a.m., there will be flag raising, patriotic songs, benedictions and speakers to celebrate the fourth at the new front porch of the Teetotal building. On the lawn of the museum there will be children’s activities including games, face painting, a magic act and more! There will also be food and delicious ice cream. The St. Michaels Museum will be open and free to the public. Join Uncle Sam for the fun and spectacle of this traditional celebration!
Red White and BOOM
Wicomico County Stadium, July 4th, 6:30 p.m.
brRed White and BOOM is Salisbury’s free community fireworks display returning to Wicomico County Stadium! A vendor area will open at the stadium at 6:30 p.m. There will be a variety of food vendors, along with music on site courtesy of WBOC-FM 102.5. A Salisbury Fire Department ladder truck will be at the event, hanging a massive U.S. flag, plus bounce houses for children and a Kids Kazoo Parade at 8 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from the site of the old Salisbury Mall around 9:15 p.m. The main viewing area will be inside the stadium; and spectators can bring lawn chairs and blankets if they wish. A rain date is scheduled for July 5th.
4th of July Celebration
Ocean City, July 4th, 8–10 p.m. Enjoy a free concert followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. downtown on the beach at North Division Street and simultaneously, uptown at 125th Street at Northside Park.
