Fado Irish Pub hosts a Whiskey Dinner on Thursday, March 12th from 7 – 9 p.m. at $35 per person. The St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Event is Sunday, March 15th from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is a fundraising event that raises money and awareness to help fight children’s cancer. On St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17th Fado is the first Irish pub in town to open its doors serving Pints and Pancakes. Irish Band, Lunasa performs to benefit the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra, An Irish Week in Annapolis Event on Sunday, March 15th. The 25th Anniversary Gala for the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra will feature Lunasa, a band who Folk Roots magazine proclaims is the “Irish Music Dream Team”. They will be accompanied by the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra and Senior Flute Ensemble. The party is on St. John’s College Campus at the Francis Scott Key Auditorium and tickets are $50. The party starts at 6 p.m. with Irish fare, Irish beer, wine and other refreshments and music from the CYSO Jazz Ensemble.
