2018 Nation's Escape Triathlon – West Potomac Park, Washington, D.C.

More than 2,000 triathletes will take over the capitol of the United States, for the 2018 Nation's Escape Triathlon. This year will mark the 13th year of this annual event, which includes an elite field of professional athletes competing for a $20,000 prize purse. The sprint distance race will feature a 750m swim, a 26K bike ride and a 5k run, along the same course. The Nation's Escape Triathlon is recognized as a bucket list race for triathletes, featuring one of the only opportunities for athletes to swim in the Potomac River and through DC's historical landmarks.
