When I told my male counterpart that I stuffed chocolate chip cookies with bacon, he looked at me as if I'd sprouted a second head. But really, it's a small bit of genius to combine sweets with savory in unexpected ways. The bacon lends a nice smokiness to the cookie and gives it a healthy dose of salt to offset the standard sweetness. br
