Cocktails tend to run freely during Fat Tuesday celebrations. Trade in the cheesy beers and grab one of these bright, refreshing cocktails. Warning, these are of the “so good it’s dangerous” persuasion. br
Ingredients
For drink base:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 blood orange, juiced
1 meyer lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced
For each serving:
1 1/2 ounce vodka
Cold sparkling water
Directions
Begin by preparing your base. Heat sugar and water over medium heat in a sauce pan until sugar dissolves. Place into a large pitcher. Stir in citrus juices.
To serve drinks, pour 1 1/2 ounces vodka into a glass. Add in 2 - 3 ounces citrus mixture and top with cold sparkling water. Mix to combine.
