Believe it or not, frying an egg is a terribly easy process. It does, however, require a delicate hand and a good spatula. Consider using a fish spatula which will allow you to easily scoop up your perfectly fried egg. br
Ingredients
1 egg
2 tsp. butter
salt
pepper
toast for serving
Directions
Heat a sauce pan over medium. Add 1 tsp. butter and let it coat the pan. Crack your egg into the middle of the pan. The whites will begin to set along the outside. Once they fully set on the outsides, pour a small amount of water (approximately 2 Tbsp.) into the pan and cover it with a lid. While the egg cooks through, melt the remaining butter in the microwave. The egg should cook in the pan for approximately one minute. Remove the lid and check the whites. The entire white should be cooked through. Use a spatula and carefully remove the egg from the pan. Place it on top of your toast. Pour the melted butter and top and season with salt and pepper
