Lattes are my serious vice, I can’t ever say no. Vanilla and caramel are great during the winter months. But in the summer, I need the lavender tea latte. It’s fresh and bright, a perfect change for the season.
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lavender
1 cup hot ewed black tea
½ cup heavy cream
Directions
Combine water, sugar and lavender in a pot over medium high. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Reduce to low and cook until sugar dissolves. Strain out lavender and allow to cool, then transfer to a jar. Pour tea into a cup. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of syrup to the tea. Place the cream in a blender and whir for 10 to 15 seconds until frothy. Pour into the tea. Serve hot.
