Who’s ready to start crackin’ some crabs and drink a refreshing cold beer? Everyone is invited to join in on a weekend full of live entertainment and tons of delicious food! Grab a mallet and start crackin’ away at the Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival. If you’re feeling ambitious, lace up those sneakers, hit the 3.1 mile Charm City Crab Run, and built up an appetite for a crabtastic day. Don’t get crabby if seafood’s not your thing and head over to the Italian festival for a variety of Italian cuisine and desserts. But, if you don’t like walking around feeling as though you just had Thanksgiving dinner, then head over to the Naptown Nerdfest and let out your inner geek! Charm City Crab Run 5K
Rash Field, Saturday June 25th, 9:30 a.m.
brCelebrate the start of summer by running in The Charm City Crab Run 5K race at Rash Field in Baltimore’s beautiful Inner Harbor! As you finish your race, you will find yourself immersed in the largest Crab & Beer Festival in Charm City with over 50 beers to choose from along with food trucks, arts & crafts, and enjoy the sounds of live music on the main stage. All runners are welcome to stay at the festival through the first session (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.). $49 Entry Fee or $109 VIP Entry Fee with All You Can Eat Crabs. Get Crackin’ and Get Runnin’ because this will be the crabbiest part of your summer!

brDon’t miss Baltimore’s largest crab feast! Taking place at Rash Field, the festival is an all-you-care-to-taste extravaganza complete with over 30,000 crabs, tons of beer, arts and crafts, live music, family fun and much more! Enjoy over 50 beers and wines being served to highlight the crabby deliciousness! How many crabs can you eat? Show off your talents during the four hour time frame, but don’t get too crabby if you can’t eat that many! Crabs will vary in size from medium to large and will be offered six crabs at a time per person. There will be plenty of crabs for everyone, but for those looking to add some more to their pallet, there will be other great food options available. Prices include: $89/VIP Crab and Beer Ticket, $59/Beer and 6 Crab Ticket, $59/Crab Only & Designated Driver Ticket, $39 Session 2 Beer Only Ticket, $29/Kids Crab Only Ticket (Ages 4-20).
1st Annual Naptown Nerdfest
Stage One Park, Saturday, June 25th, 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m.
brGet your geek on at the 1st Annual Naptown Nerdfest. Come early to the Nerd Fair (11 a.m.–3 p.m.) to peek inside the brains of some of the smartest young science fair winners and engineering students with their cool projects, demos and presentations. Have some brainy fun and learn about the areas’ Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) programs. See Light Saber Battles and martial arts. Nerd out with “I Love Nerd Life” live podcast, hero mask making, large adult comic coloring, inking comic book art, plus get up to speed on latest hot comics with 3rd Eye Comics. Hear great young musicians and bands from Priddy Music Academy on stage all day long. Yummy food trucks and all beverages. In the evening crank up the fun and celebrate the Nerd Ball (5–9:30 p.m.) with the outstanding Weird Science band providing 80’s tunes for this geeky get together. Win great prizes at the Nerdy costume contest. Tickets are $10 (Fair only); kids dressed nerdy get a free gift! $25 All day, but come Nerdy and save $5. 2nd Annual Annapolis Italian Festival (Festa di Santa Madre Cabrini)

brVenire, Venite Tutti! Celebrate all things Italian without the expensive plane ticket at the two day Annual Italian Festival! From a variety of entertainment, contests, activities, shopping, and of course the delicious food, you’ll feel as though you’re in Italy itself. Come with an empty stomach and stuff your face with fried calamari, mussels, meatball subs, pasta, etc. Indulge in delicious Italian desserts such as biscotti, cannolis, pizelles, sfogliatelle, and zeppoles. But, make sure to save some room for some great red and white Italian wines! Admission is $1 and will support local charities and the Lodge Scholarship Fund.
