Hawaiian Drop Cookies2 sticks butter (1/2 pound)
3/4 cup of light brown sugar
3/4 cup of white granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup of fresh chopped coconut meat
1/2 cup of butterscotch morsels
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugars well. Add eggs one at a time. Beating until eggs are blended. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to butter, sugars, and egg mixture. Once blended, add nuts, coconut, and morsels. Mix until pieces are throughout dough. Chill dough until ready to bake. Drop tablespoon-sized balls on to a cookie sheet. Cookies may slightly spread out. Bake 8–10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
