There is always an abundance of sauces and stocks hanging around on Thanksgiving. Cranberry sauce, veg stock, gravies. Reduce stress and make your sauces and stocks the day before, placing them in some tupperware containers. But hold off on the gravy. “You’ll need the drippings from the turkey to pull that one off the best,” said Schick. Don’t waste a single drop of that turkey, be sure to use it in the gravy for flavor.
