Sorrel isn’t exactly the first herb to come to mind but it is certainly one of the more flavorful ones. It’s got a great citrusy bite to it. When combined with the peppery arugula, it makes a perfect, simple salad.
Ingredients
1 cup arugula
½ cup sorrel, chopped
1 lemon
1 hard boiled egg
Directions
Toss arugula and sorrel in a bowl. Slice lemon in half and squeeze over top of the salad. Toss to coat with lemon juice. Slice the egg into slices and layer on top of the salad.
Serves 1
