Sure, you could scarf a giant cheeseburger while spectating. We’d like to think, however, that things can be a little more sophisticated. Tuna cakes are a great switch up from burgers and the aioli is a perfect companion. br
Ingredients
2 cans water-packed albacore tuna, drained
½ cup red pepper, diced
½ cup onion, diced
½ cup eadcrumbs
1 egg
For aioli:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. stone-ground mustard
1 Tbsp. honey
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine tuna, egg, pepper, onion and eadcrumbs until well mixed. Form the mixture into patties then place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. While the mixture bakes, combine mustard, mayonnaise and honey. When ready to serve, place a spoonful of aioli on the plate and place the patty on top.
