20th Annual Secret Garden Tour

In the first weekend of June each year, the Hammond-Harwood House organizes the Secret Garden Tour:

The tour, in its 20th year, is a tradition in Annapolis and is looked forward to by those of us who love gardens. The gardens on this tour are true secrets as they are all private gardens hidden behind fences, in backyards, or down alleyways. Each garden is different and reflects the garden owner’s desires for beauty and a calm place to relax in our fast paced world. They are private oases and not often seen by the public. This is your chance to peek behind fences, go into backyards, and walk down alleys to examine these hidden gems.

Tickets for the tour are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event. Tickets are valid for both Saturday and Sunday tours.

Make a day of it; enjoy the garden tour, have lunch, and just walk around our beautiful and charming colonial city.
