A Few Good Men Post-Show Discussion
Colonial Players is hosting a post-show discussion for A Few Good Men in the theatre immediately after the performance on Saturday, November 1, 2014. This exciting courtroom drama by Aaron Sorkin follows a trio of officers intent on learning the truth behind the wrongful death of a marine. While building their case, they uncover the codes, ethics and personalities of the men’s commanding officers, revealing a complex mix of duty and psychology.
Please join the cast, crew and director as they discuss the play’s characters, themes and issues brought up in the play. Director Jeff Sprague is himself also an attorney, a former captain in the US Air Force and a graduate of VMI. We are also fortunate to have Colin Hood, a local attorney with military justice experience, joining us for the discussion to give us his insights into the ethics and legal processes within the military.
The post-show event is free and open to the public so please join us for this enlightening discussion! For questions about the event, contact CP’s director of education at education@thecolonialplayers.org .
