The Chesapeake Film Festival will be held Oct. 3 to 10 at the Avalon Theatre, Oxford Community Center, Gallery 447 in Cambridge, and t he Premier Cinemas in Easton and Cambridge.
On Sunday, October 6th, th e festival will present a full day of environmental films at Gallery 447 in Cambridge including the festival favorite feature-length film The Ta le of the Tongs with screenings of Sharkwater: Extinction and The Huma n Element.
In addition to the movies, the festival will offer opp ortunities to meet filmmakers, participate in discussions, and att end receptions and other events.
• Individual tickets for Adults are (18 and up) are $12. Youth tickets (under 18) and seniors (55 and up) are $10. Festival Passes can also be purchased online fo r $140.
• Opening Day Passes for two films and a gourmet rece ption are $40.
This year's festival slate features a record 62 films, including features, shorts and documentaries.
